Welcome—I’m glad you’re here.
Urban Money Budgets started from a very personal place.
When my son was getting ready to step into adulthood, I realized how much of everyday life depends on financial decisions—and how little clear, practical guidance exists for him. Not theory. Not jargon. Just real answers to questions like: How do you file taxes? What does a health insurance plan actually mean? What are you committing to when you take on a car loan?
I wanted him to feel prepared, not overwhelmed.
But as I started building resources for him, it became clear this wasn’t just about someone starting out. Financial life isn’t linear. People revisit it at all stages—starting over, adjusting after setbacks, or trying to regain a sense of control.
That’s what Urban Money became.
A space for clarity. A place to reset, rebuild, and move forward with intention—without judgment.
In my day-to-day work, I have been a UX Strategist specializing in information design. I design systems that help people make sense of complex information. Training as a financial coach and building Urban Money Budgets is an extension of that work—focused on something even more personal: how you understand and use your money.
Because most financial advice doesn’t fail from lack of information—it fails from lack of clarity.
As this work evolved, so did the need for something more personalized.
Financial coaching allows me to work directly with you—helping you apply these ideas to your real life. Together, we focus on building structure, creating systems that support your decisions, and developing a clearer way to move forward. Not perfect plans, but practical ones. Not judgment, but direction.
Financial maturity isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about building awareness, creating structure, and making consistent decisions that align with your life.
If you’re looking for a more grounded, realistic way to approach your finances—you’re in the right place.
All the best!
